Is not love a form of worship?

I worshiped your eyes...for the way they pulled my soul into them...never to return. For how I could see myself in them; another part of me.

I worshiped your smile...for its beauty...for how it made everything right in the world...and for how it made my heart leap inside...

I worshiped your laugh...for its warmth and kindness, gentleness and playfulness; non-pretentious and beautiful; heavenly...

I worshiped the very sound of your voice, for when I'd hear it, it would still all my doubts & fears, make my heart skip a beat; love hears.

I worshiped your heart...so pure, so meek, so gentle, so loving. Full of love & service, but very much a king; you are once in a lifetime.

I worshiped your spirit..how u could reach me like no one else could..how we could communicate thru our hearts & minds, even from a distance.

(God, forgive me, because I could not help but worship him. When my soul recognized him, I was finally 'home'.)

I don't know how 'home' could be a person, but you're it for me.

My soul sees you far off in the distance, and I swear, my love, I swear, everything in me wants to run to you.
